Thankful For The Small Miracles
Recently I read the story of the widow at Zarephath in 1 Kings 17. It struck me that even though her, her son and Elijah never ran out of oil and flour for quite some time, she didn’t believe until her son was brought back from the dead. She overlooked the small miracles that she was given each day until she got her big miracle. Then she believed God.
I guess I am just as guilty as the rest of the world in wanting it my way right away. I have been reminded that small miracles are as life changing and life saving as the big miracles.
Of course we look for a miracle when someone we love has their life on the line. But what about the day to day provisions of God? Each day we have is a miracle, each breath we take, each moment in time.
Today I seek to be thankful to God for the small miracles He is doing every day in my life. How about you?

Welcome to A High And Noble Calling!

My passion is to encourage women to embrace and excel in their high callings as wives, mothers, homemakers and women of God. We have a lot to do in a day, and my hope is that I can encourage and equip you to not only finish the laundry, cook dinner, manage your home and love your husband, but to bring glory to God in the process.
Embrace your calling. It is noble. It is worthy. It is glorious.
