Chocolate Chip Dessert Pizza

We were having a Pizza theme at our home fellowship this week so I thought I would make this delicious dessert pizza to add to the fun. This is so, so good and can even be made a day in advance. Actually it tastes better that way!

Here is the recipe. The one in the photo is a double batch, but this recipe is for a single 13″ round:

1 pkg (16 ounces) of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie, or your favorite homemade recipe

1/3 cup of sugar

1 8 oz package of cream cheese, room temperature

1 pint half n half

1 3.9 oz box of chocolate pudding

1/4 nuts ( I didn’t have nuts on hand, so I used some sprinkles and drizzled melted chocolate on the top)

Gather your cookie dough into a ball and flatten onto a pizza pan or pizza stone. Cook at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until done. Make sure you don’t overcook the cookie.

Let cool and go around the bottom of cookie with a flat spatula to make sure it isn’t sticking, or transfer to a plate.

Combine pudding with half and half and let set.

Combine the sugar and cream cheese together well, and spread on top of completely cooled cookie. Spread the pudding on top.

Decorate your pizza with the chopped nuts, or whatever you like to make it pretty or festive. If you have some chocolate chips, melt them and drizzle over the top of your pizza if you wish. Put into the refrigerator to get cold.  To serve, cut with a pizza cutter and enjoy!

Thanks or stopping by my blog. Your dessert pizza sounds yummy! My mom used to make one with pillsbury pizza dough, cream cheese, and fresh fruit. Then she made a chocolate pizza with baking chocolate, almond bark (white to drizzle like cheese), nuts, marachino cherries, and coconut. (that one was very good). Stop by my blog anytime!

This recipe sounds absolutely delicious. My boys would love to make, and eat, this pizza cookie. I am definitely going to cook this for them.
