I know there are whole lotta cookie recipes out there, but trust me when I tell you that these are definitely one of the best ones I have EVER tasted!
The best way to describe them is that they taste a lot like a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup. Yum!
Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/8 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 banana
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition
4. Stir in the vanilla, bananas and peanut butter until combined well
5. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
6. Finally, stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips.
7. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!!

I did change the recipe around a bit using sucanant for brown sugar, sucanant with honey for white sugar & whole wheat flower for all-purpose. And I used mini choc chips. Absolutely delicious!!! Thanks for the recipe…it’s a keeper at our house.
I got over here from Tammy’s Kitchen Tip Tuesday. After reading your 10 tips to a perfect cookie I just had to click on your OBCCC recipe. WOW!! They are delicious. I just pulled them out of the oven and I’ve alreay had two. I’ll try not to eat them all.
These sound really good! I’ll have to try and save some bananas so I can try them.
