We will be eating from our pantry for the most part this week. I need to pick up a few things from the grocery store, such as bread and milk, but that’s about it. Considering I continually went over budget on my groceries quite a bit for the month of May, I hope this will begin the month with things more in balance!
For June, we are going on a $100/week grocery challenge. For a family of 5 hearty eaters, I am not kidding when I say challenge. I’ll be sharing how we doe each week, so if your interested you will want to check back on Fridays for our progress report!

::Breakfasts:
Cereal w/ milk, fresh OJ x3
Smoothie, Toast
Bagels w/ Cream Cheese, fruit
Waffles, fruit
Muffin, yogurt, fruit
::Lunches:
Leftovers x3
Sandwiches x2
Mac N Cheese, veggie sticks w/ dip x2
::Dinners:
Subs, chips, pickles, cookies
Marinated Chicken on grill, baked potato, steamed broccoli
Roasted Chicken, Rice, steamed broccoli
Cheeseburgers, salad
Chicken noodle soup, homemade bread, salad
Homemade pizza, salad, brownies
C.O.R.N (Clean Out Refrigerator!)

I like the CORN part the best – wonder if my family would notice if I posted that up on my plan? Probably not.
Good luck with your challenge. I’ve been going over budget alot myself lately so really need to crack down as well.
