What A Weekend and We Are Going To Be Famous

Well not really famous. But a little bit famous. And its not even me that is going to be famous, but my daughter.

A reporter from the Portland Press Herald is coming today to do a story on her garden. Yes, her garden. Not mine that I have slaved over and finally got all planted this weekend. But that’s ok, I think mine is close enough to make it in at least one of the shots.

I think my daughter was born to make headlines. Its kind of funny too because when we were trying to find a name for her,we just couldn’t decide on one. Then my husband said “Lets name her something that would sound good if she ever gets famous.” I know, real thoughtful eh? So we came up with Lindsey Rae. And it must work, cause every time this child does something, she manages to make headlines! Whether it is in a newspaper, on stage or singing at a historic hotel  for the Governor (yes she really did that!), she was meant for stardom. And speaking of stardom…

This weekend we went to see Annie put on by my nieces school. They did an amazing job and my niece played several roles. It was a great time! And guess who’s daughter now wants to take up drama?

And since I bragged on two of my children, I may as well keep going. My oldest daughter received a ribbon for her outstanding photography last week, and my little guy has proven that he has exceptional talent playing baseball and catching fish with his dad. I am a proud mama!

I mentioned that I finally got my garden all planted, I also managed to get my home management binder all redone. I am trying out combining my home stuff in with my home school stuff and see if that helps me get a little more organized!
