How Does Your Garden Grow: Still Reaping!

I have had an incredibly busy week this week and have been neglecting my little garden. The other day I had a little bit of time to pop out there and see how things were going (growing!) and was amazed at how quickly everything was ripening!  I gathered up the children and we had a harvesting session. Here is what we picked:

I don’t know if there is anything quite as tasty as a fresh garden cucumber! I plan on making pickles for the first time this season so I planted a lot of cucumbers. I still have green peppers ripening as well as some tomatoes. The cabbage hasn’t been looking very healthy, but I think I will have atleast one nice one out of  four plants!

Looks great! There surely is nothing as good as fresh veggies from a garden. I miss it. My grandpa always had a garden that my mom would get veggies from. Oh, they were so yummy!!

Your harvest looks great! This will be first year to try pickling as well. I am a little worried, because my husband is rather picky about his pickles. :-)
