I realized a few hours into my baking day plans that I was running low on a few necessary ingredients, so I cut a few things out of my plans for this round.
I also discovered that baking while trying to home school proved to be much more difficult than I thought. My next baking day will defnitely take place on an off day and with a much better plan.
All in all thoughI did accomplish quite a bit. I ended up making:
1 loaf of homemade wheat bread
1 large pot of my favorite corn chowder
18 cups of homemade chicken broth
1 delicious coffee cake (recipe forthcoming)
1 chicken pot pie
1 batch of Kombucha
Next week I hope to do another day of baking, especially since I have loads of apples to cook up! How did your day of baking go?
