Join Me For The Homemakers Haven!

by Stephanie on October 25, 2009

Do you have a desire to make your home an inviting haven to your family and all who enter it? I know that I do, but in the busyness of life, I sometimes forget to do just that. I have learned that it won’t just happen, I have to make it happen! The only way I have found to make it happen is by setting a goal for it.

Remember The Homemakers Haven? After taking a short break from doing it each week, I realize how much I have missed this weekly feature. Ahem, I realize how much better I am at making my home a haven when I have the accountability and encouragement from my fellow bloggers. So I have decided it is time to bring begin featuring it here each week.

Starting next Monday, and each Monday thereafter, I will be posting ideas and challenges for making our homes a haven. I will put up some simple things to do that will help you towards your goal. And since many of you found The 4 P’s (prayer, planning, prioritizing and progress) to be helpful, I will be using them to help us along.

Won’t it be fun to to challenge, encourage, and inspire one another by sharing what we are doing to create a peaceful sanctuary in our homes?

The challenges will be simple and involve basic things like cleaning, organizing, planning, and decorating. I will post my completed projects at the end of the day (probably a before and after when it applies)  and will leave a Mr. Linky for you to share also! It will be so much fun!

I hope you will consider joining me in The Homemakers Haven! Oh and if you would like, grab the button and spread the word! The more who join in, the more inspiring it will be!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I don’t think I’m brave to give my thoughts on the election, believe me it is a little scarey to put my thoughts out there. However, I think it is so vital that people look beyond themselves in this election. I pray daily for the state of this nation, and I know whoever wins God is in control. :0)

I will be popping in on Monday for your ideas and challenges. I look forward to participating. :0)
