Last Monday evening, our sweet girl had her first litter of puppies.
I have watched kittens being born before, but have never experienced the birth of puppies. I was feeling pretty anxious the past week, worrying about how she would be, if she would be in pain, if she would be ok, if the pups would be ok. I actually prayed over my dog. Call me weird, but it gave me comfort. And I think God heard my prayers, because her labor went extremely well and we were excited to welcome 4 little puppies by the end of the evening.
It is amazing how fast they are growing. It is also amazing how fast I have grown to love them. We are having so much fun with them!
Actually we are getting very little done around here besides lots of cuddling these little babies.
I love the gift of life. It truly is a finer thing!
