Baking Day-The Final Results

by Stephanie on November 5, 2009

An exhausting, but successful baking day has come to an end. You can see what I planned here.  And here are the final results:

2 bottles of Apple/Orange/Carrot Juice and Apple Juice. I love having fresh juice pre-made and frozen, since I really don’t like the hassle of cleaning the juicer! This way has worked out really well for us.

Two bottles of Kombucha are finishing the fermentation process on the counter. This has been  my most recent kitchen experiment with fermented foods and we are loving this stuff. The health benefits are amazing!  I’ll be sharing more details of our fermented food experiments next week.

Here are  the rest of the meals I made. Lots of apple crisp! Yum!

And here is some vegetable whip that I made up at the last minute with turnips and potatoes, along with potato soup. The potato soup didn’t go over too well with the family, so I don’t think I’ll be making that again!

And my kitchen went from this:

Did you have a day of baking recently? How did it go for you?

Nice work! I’ll be very interested to hear more about the Kombucha. By the way–beautiful kitchen! :-)
