Because of this, I have been thinking back to my childhood. My Mom was basically a single mother of 6 from the time I was 5 (the oldest of us being 16 years older than me). She had to work, and by the time I was a teenager most of my siblings had left the house. I was usually alone as a teenager with little family support. I think those were times when I needed my Mom the most. Luckly I had the support of my boyfriend, now husband, and at times his family. I hope that if we have children I will be able to dedicate my time to raising them, and not have to split it with a job.
