I am not hosting the Thanksgiving celebration this year, so I have some extra time available to make a few fun things to share at our family gathering. Of course, sweet potato casserole is a must in my book, but there are plenty of those recipes floating around so I will spare you another! Here is what I have planned..
We will be making these cute Pilgrim Hats to bring. These look so fun I can hardly wait to make them:
Recipe and instructions can be found here.
And I am excited to try out making this Turkey Cheese Ball. Is this neat or what!?
You can see how to make it here
Are you hosting in your home or visiting this year?

I think I’m gonna have my 15 yo make the hats. He should contribute something to the cooking. They look fun and easy. We are hosting 20 people this year. Our house is going to be a little crowded but it will be good to have everyone over.

20 people! Wow! Make sure you get lots of rest before hand..and teach that 15 year old how to do dishes after he is done with those pilgrim hats!
Both of these look so great!
Gotta try it!

Aren’t they so cute!? My kids will love making them. And the cheeseball, looks hard but I can’t wait to make it. It is so fun to have some extra time this year to make things like this. Happy Thanksgiving! Make sure you let me know how it all turns out!

So glad to hear that you did. I was thinking of doing something else with the tail feathers because that seemed a little difficult. Was it easy though? Any tips for me?
