What a lovely post! Being from the south, I would love to have a winter with a lot of snow. It definitely is a magical moment when the flakes start to fall!

We got our first snow about 10 days ago, but it was just a couple of inches. Nothing like the 19 inches we got last MARCH. That was craziness!

Massachusetts here!!
I am in hibernation mode myself---even though we have only had an inch or two of snow so far (which the rain washed away).

Give me 70 degrees any day. However, the kids LOVE it. It's precious how white flakes coming down from the sky can be so magical to them. To them it means snowman, snow angles and hot chocolate. To me it means icy roads, wet boots and cold. Maybe with our first big snow storm I will try to look at it through my childrens eyes (I still won't go outside though : )-
